Living room with a bookmatched grey marble feature wall, a curved navy sofa, ivory bouclé seating, grey channel-tufted chairs and black marble cube tables.

Overview :

Mehfil pairs neoclassical detailing with bold contemporary pieces. French wall mouldings, fluted pilasters and arched niches give the home its structure, while a bookmatched grey marble wall, a curved navy sofa and sculptural lighting bring it firmly into the present.

The living and dining areas flow as one entertaining space, anchored by an arched bar finished in hexagonal mother-of-pearl tiles, brass-framed display cabinets, a cascading amber glass chandelier and a stepped marble fireplace. The bedrooms continue the palette in softer tones of grey, taupe and navy, the master bath goes darker with black marble and capsule mirrors, and a dedicated home theatre completes the experience.

Dining room with an arched bar niche in mother-of-pearl hex tiles, brass-framed glass display cabinets, a glass-top table with striped chairs and a cascading amber glass chandelier.

Home theatre with three blue leather recliners, acoustic fabric walls, brass sconces, a ceiling-mounted projector and herringbone wood flooring.

Master bathroom with twin capsule mirrors on a black marble wall, vessel basins on a floating concrete-finish vanity, amber glass pendants and a striped marble floor.

Constraints :

Classic meets modern: neoclassical detailing without the home feeling dated.

Built for hosting: bar, dining and living as one seamless flow.
Cool palette, warm feel: grey and navy balanced with brass and amber light.
Hidden services: linear AC and track lighting integrated into clean ceilings.

Stepped white marble fireplace set against fluted grey wainscoting, with amber glass wall sconces, a glass bowl and framed art on the mantel, and a potted bamboo plant.

Bedroom with an upholstered ivory wingback bed, navy and grey bedding, and a watercolour art panel with gold veining above a mother-of-pearl lamp.

Bedroom with an ivory upholstered bed in navy bedding, a curved fluted wall, a patterned navy-and-cream armchair and a round-mirror dressing table.

Master bedroom with a channel-tufted taupe velvet wall, a grey upholstered bed in navy and taupe bedding, brass sconces with blue stone globes and a large picture window.

Bedroom sideboard in dark oak with fluted sage-grey doors and bronze trims on block legs, under brass ring sconces with blue stone globes.

Open-plan dining and living area with an arched mother-of-pearl bar niche, a glass-top dining table, a stepped marble fireplace and a curved navy sofa beyond.

Outcome :

A home made for company. Every space, from the bar to the theatre, invites people to gather and stay, with classic elegance and modern confidence in equal measure.
